 WIA Eligible Training Provider System
Texas' Statewide List of Certified Training Providers
General Disclaimers
Information is provided for programs or courses that have received initial certification, or that have been recertified, by a Local Workforce Development Board (Board) and the Texas Workforce Commission (Agency). Initial certification and inclusion on these lists is based on information submitted to Boards by the training providers applying for certification under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) passed into law on July 22, 2014. The Act taking effect on July 1, 2015, the first full program year after enactment, unless otherwise noted. Training providers are subject to removal from the Statewide List of Certified Training Providers if they intentionally supply inaccurate information. Viewers are encouraged to review the list prior to enrolling in a program or course to ensure that the training provider is certified to enroll a person with a WIOA Individual Training Account.

Training providers who offer programs or courses under the same program type are listed in alphabetical order. The order of listing does not reflect any preference on the part of a Board or the Agency. Viewers who will be using a WIOA Individual Training Account are encouraged to review the data on each program or course in consultation with their Texas Workforce Center case manager.

If a training provider has voluntarily provided additional contact information, external website and/or email addresses are posted to help you access information that may be important to you when choosing your training option. No effort is made by the Agency or the Boards to validate any information in the training providers' websites.

Performance Reporting
Under the Act, certain training providers are required to submit performance information when applying for initial eligibility determination and inclusion on the Statewide List of Certified Training Providers. For some programs, performance information is independently verified. Performance information that is self-reported by training providers is subject to verification by the Agency.

To remain on the Statewide List of Certified Training Providers, training providers are required to meet annual performance goals. The information used for the renewal process is collected and reviewed by the Board and the Agency.

Performance information is provided to help viewers make informed choices when selecting a training provider. In certain cases, performance information will not be posted:

Arrow Partial Year Data - For programs that have been in operation for less than 12 months at time of Initial Eligibility Application submission, training providers are required to submit partial year data as applicable. Similarly, partial year data may be submitted as part of a training provider's Subsequent Eligibility Application for a given program.

Arrow UI Wage Data Availability - A source of data for WIOA reporting is Texas' unemployment insurance (UI) wage records. Given the lag time for availability of UI records, information is reported for WIOA participants who completed the program prior to the current certification period. In some cases (e.g., the first recertification cycle), data will not be available for review or posting.

Program Cost
The cost information displayed on this list represents the total dollar amount, per student, for the program or course.

Additional costs may apply, including expenses for out of district or out of state tuition, non-required fees, books, equipment, materials and supplies, tools, uniforms or living expenses.

Arrow Search Results Page - Only the Total In District/In State Tuition and Required Fees/Expenses amount is posted.

Arrow Training Program Detail - Totals for each of the five cost categories are posted in the Detailed Cost Information section.

In addition, a student's total cost of training may be affected by the program length, enrollment status (part-time versus full-time), residence status (in district/in state versus out of district/out of state), housing arrangements or the availability of additional financial assistance.
